Atmospheric Layers
    Troposphere
Extends from the Earth’s surface up to about 8–15 km (5–9 mi). Weather happens here.
Stratosphere
15–50 km (9–31 mi) above sea level. It contains the ozone layer.
Mesosphere
50–85 km (31–53 mi). Meteors burn here before reaching Earth.
Thermosphere
85–600 km (53–373 mi). Home to the ionosphere, vital for radio signals.
Exosphere
Starts around 600 km (373 mi) and fades into space at ~10,000 km (6,200 mi).
Factors Influencing Sky Perception
Atmospheric conditions like clouds, pollution, and sunlight can change how we perceive height, clarity, and color.
