Santa Cookies
Tools: Mixing Bowls, Baking Sheet, Silicone Mat, Cookie Scoop, Cooling Rack
Ingredients:
- 15.25 oz red velvet cake mix (1 box)
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup red, white & blue M&Ms
- ½ cup granulated sugar for coating
Instructions:
- Combine cake mix, oil, and eggs in a large bowl or stand mixer. Beat until combined.
- Fold in half of the M&Ms.
- Chill dough for 60 minutes (do not skip).
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment or silicone mat.
- Use cookie scoop to form balls, roll in sugar, and place 2 inches apart on sheet.
- Bake for 8–9 minutes. Cookies will look puffy and slightly underdone.
- Press remaining M&Ms into tops immediately after baking. Cool on sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
